It is time for the likes of Madonna to step aside as Rihanna surpasses the “Like a Prayer” songstress when she was announced, by Forbes on Tuesday, as the world’s richest female musician.

It is estimated by the publication that the Barbadian born, 31 year old is worth $600 million, however, this is not just due to her musical endeavors. Rihanna, real name Robyn Fenty has a very sucessful partnership with the designer brand LVMH and is the co-owner of the Fenty Beauty line, which has generated in excess of $500 million in revenue for 2018, all according to the publication from Forbes.

Although her music is a huge part of her unique identity, Rihanna is also reaping the rewards of her work in cosmetics and fashion. The “Diamonds” songstress confirmed her clothing and accessories line with LVMH back in May.

In a statement at the time, Rihanna said, “Designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us, [LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault] has given me a unique opportunity to develop a fashion house in the luxury sector, with no artistic limits. I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise, and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”

Bernard Arnault was alight with excitement at partnering with the “Umbrella” singer, saying, “Everybody knows Rihanna as a wonderful singer, but through our partnership at Fenty Beauty, I discovered a true entrepreneur, a real CEO and a terrific leader. She naturally finds her full place within LVMH. To support Rihanna to start up the Fenty Maison, we have built a talented and multicultural team supported by the Group resources. I am proud that LVMH is leading this venture and wish it will be a great success.”

It has been confirmed by multiple sources that Rihanna has finished recording her highly anticipated ninth album.
